MODE OF LEARNING MODALITY- "ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING"

Asynchronous learning allows you to learn on your own schedule, within a certain timeframe. You can access and complete lectures, readings, homework and other learning materials at any time during a one- or two-week period.

Examples of asynchronous learning:

Viewing video demonstrations. Reading and writing assignments. Research projects. Student presentations. Online class discussions via course discussion boards.

Why is asynchronous better?
Asynchronous learning allows learners time to pause and review virtual materials until they fully grasp key concepts. For many learners, this is the optimal way for them to learn. … It's also an excellent option for deeper learning and exploration of concepts ahead of a live discussion.

Asynchronous means that there is no set time for the learning to be occurring. Learners can learn anywhere and can consume their time to gain knowledge of what they want to know and when they need to know.
